- Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion | Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management | Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost | Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions | Responsibilities are within the Project/Program Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines
- Performs engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments | Responsibilities are within the Engineering Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
- Promote and maintain a safety culture in Engineering and Industrialization activities, on top of legal requirements (CE directive)
- Project Management for new tools/equipment engineering and industrialization activities (specifications, supplier selection -with purchasing-, design review, purchase order, Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test)
- Provide investments and technical data for quotations, new product negotiations, agreements and initiatives
- Modifying tool/equipment for product changes (including product robustness plan) or Revamping/Optimization
- Management of technology transfer
- Support cost saving, OE, quality and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Be part of Global Engineering and Industrialization network
- cooperate to the development and deployment of the Regional Industrial Strategy (Quadro)
- Take reasonable care of personal and team health and safety.
- Ensure all personnel are aware of potential hazards in the workplace.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and use formal inspections as a tool for safety success.
- Ensure correct use, condition, and availability of PPE.
- Highlight procedural safety issues to management and actively participate in safety plan development.
- Assist in developing and implementing environmental objectives and goals.
- Monitor and report environmental incidents and compliance issues to management.
- Conduct periodic inspections to ensure the facility adheres to environmental standards.
- Actively support environmental management systems and control processes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Plastics, Mechanical or technical area of expertise).
- At least 5 years' working experience in packaging systems. Ideally with focus on the beverage industry.
- Ability to develop relationships across all levels of the organization, as well as externally.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in scoping, driving, and managing projects using systematic methodologies and processes.
- Demonstrated oral and written/technical document creation and presentation skills.
- Experience in injection molding, automation, robotics, and/or inspection equipment and processes for the manufacturing of consumer-packaged goods products.
