Job DescriptionCompliance Governance
  • Supporting the Head in reviewing and maintaining all Compliance policies and procedures with current regulations and international best practices by ensuring proper governance surrounding Compliance Division’s policies by confirming that they are approved by the right authorities before they are implemented.
  • Assist the Head in matters related to Compliance Annual Plan, Compliance Monthly MI / meeting, Internal Board Audit Committee submissions, etc.
Awareness, Communication and Training
  • Ensuring that periodical training and awareness is rolled out to staff related to Compliance, AML/CTF, Sanctions, Anti-Fraud, and other Financial Crime curriculum as per the annual plan.
  • Track and follow-up on training completion.
Whistleblowing
  • Supporting the Head in the development and implementation of Whistleblowing Framework (excluding KSA).
  • Handling whistleblowing reports and maintaining confidentiality and carrying out investigations and assessment of whistleblowing reports. Moreover, ensuring the investigations of all whistleblowing reports and cases are completed in an effective and efficient manner.
Reporting
  • Updating Compliance Units’ MI reports and submit to Head for review.
  • FATCA reporting for BSC
Testing & Monitoring
  • Execute the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring & Testing Program (CMT) including Developing and maintaining Compliance Risk Register(s).
  • Agree remedial actions with business management, in addition, track identified issues and action plans to validate remediation efforts as well as escalate to relevant stakeholders where required.
  • Support the Head in preparing and delivering management information to senior management and board level committees.
  • Plan and perform risk-based reviews of Bank’s businesses and functions as per the Compliance Plan.
DRC
  • Responsible for all Ops Risk activities as the DRC
